Currently we are looking for qualified candidates for our Client, an
International Company in the health and beauty industry, for the
position of :
AREA MANAGER Post Date: 19 Mar 09
Main Purpose :
* Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Jakarta sales counters
operation with focus on operation, inventory and administrative
decision and matters. Being the Principal Manager in Jakarta, he also
should report to the Finance Manager in HQ and works closely with the
Marketing Director in HQ timely to ensure smooth execution
* Direct the Customer service function to accommodate for
marketing events and strategy.
* Handling complaint from Customer and maintain relationship with
the Customer
Key Areas and Responsibility :
l Sales and order (Customer Service)
1. Oversee the counter operations (staff) in terms of efficiency
and quality of services to the Distributors.
2. Monitor the handling and safeguarding of cash receipt including
end of day POS closing.
3. Review and approves relevant forms and documentation including
adjustments and month end sales reconciliation.
4. Direct the customer service function to accommodate for
marketing events and strategy.
l Inventory
1. Oversee inventory and warehouse management (staff) to safeguard
Company assets in accordance to Company policy and procedures.
2. Oversee the planning of stock requirements based on quarterly
sales forecast provided by Marketing for timely delivery.
3. Oversee stock movement and consistency with inventory records.
4. Oversee periodic cycle count to ensure consistency between goods
and records.
l Administrative
1. To monitor staff attendance/ behavior /ethics and compliance to
Code of Conduct and HR policy.
2. Experienced and competent in oversee of functions like
Accounting, HR, Administration and IT, Including administrative
requests and expenses review and approval.
3. To be responsible for the general security of the facilities.
4. To furnish periodic management report for submission to Corporate.
l Ad Hoc / Continuous initiatives
1. To assist the Finance Manager in the annual budgeting process.
2. To provide ideas on efficiency improvisation and cost saving initiatives.
3. To execute instructions provided by Corporate and local management.
Requirements:
* Education: University degree
* Experience: At least 5 years working experience on related
function/industry including 3 years experience in supervisory
capacity. Have experience in handling events, promotions, and customer
relationship management.
* Skills: Familiar with MS office; Fluent English and Mandarin/
Chinese language is MUST.
* Personal attributes: Good communication skill / Self-starter /
ability to withstand pressure to meet deadline.
